We are being supported and advised by a wider group of individuals, including:

  • Dominic Miles, Forest School/Outdoor Education teacher, who will make sure our school site allows our curriculum to be enriched by access to nature.

  • Suzy Stevenson, a linguist working for a translation company, who is overseeing the working group of language teachers and specialists looking at how we will teach a foreign language from reception.

  • Sejal Wasani, a local resident, parent, amazing PTA fundraiser and teacher who has taught both in the UK and India. Sejal is a mine of ideas and suggestions.

London Borough of Harrow

We are working closely with the Council to ensure our school is closely co-ordinated with other school provision in the borough. The Council will be nominating a representative to sit on our board of Governors, linking us in with the other schools and education services across the borough and administering our admissions arrangements.

Our Partner School

Broadfields Primary School

Broadfields Primary School

We are working in partnership with Broadfields Primary School in Edgware.

Broadfields is a fantastic school based on a semi-rural site just over the border in Barnet. They share many of the aims of our school and are excited about our vision. Broadfields wants to support other schools in the local area to build up a network of excellent, likeminded schools that can cooperate in key areas.

New Schools Network

New Schools Network

We are working with New Schools Network as part of their New Schools Development Programme.

The Co-Operative College and the Schools Co-operative Society

Co-Operative College

We are being assisted by The Co-operative College, which trains and supports the co-operative movement in the UK. There are over 700 co-operative schools in the UK and we aim to join this network. By forming a co-operative, our school will be able to engage children, parents, teachers and the community directly with the governance of the school – the school will be owned by the community, safeguarding our vision and ethos now and into the future. You can watch this short video explaining co-operative schools.

The Schools Co-operative Society has nominated Dr Katy Simmons, an experienced Chair of Governors to sit on our board.

The Phoenix Education Trust

Phoenix Education Trust

Key to our ethos is creating a school where children are fully involved, respected and supported to take ownership of their own learning. The Phoenix Education Trust supports and trains schools in ‘democratic education’ – enabling children to take part in decision making and governance in school.
